The Oxford Project: Lecture and Presentation

October 25th, 2008 — 7:00pm to 8:30pm

Description: Please join us for something out of the ordinary as Fotovision breaks to the stage! Much more than your average lecture and slideshow, the celebration of the new book, The Oxford Project, will feature a theatrical presentation from special guest readers. Come hear the soul of small town America.

The Oxford Project, by photographer Peter Feldstein and award winning author Stephan G. Bloom, features over three hundred photographs of Oxford residents, shot initially in 1984 and again in 2005. The photographs are accompanied with 100 of their personal narratives in what presents itself as an extremely intimate, candid and effecting portrait of one small town.

Don't miss this unique presentation, with guest readers, a slideshow, and a conversation with the authors about the making of the book. A booksigning will follow. Please note that there is an exclusive 15% book discount for attendees. To get a little taste of what the event will be like, watch the video:
